Quick Tips

Be sure to check the site map for help in locating a solution to your problem first.

Many of the pages have links to other pages as well!

Your public library may have a manual for your motor in the technical or reference section.

You may find an answer at one of the web sites on my boating links page.

Express Tech Assistance

Express Assistance is now available!

Let me start by saying that I do try to answer all of your questions free of charge on a first come, first served basis.

The many questions I receive is sometimes overwhelming, especially during the boating season. It seems I am always backed up at least 2 weeks and most of the time it's close to 3 weeks or more before I can answer your questions. If I take a short vacation, then everything backs up and it takes forever to catch up!

If you've emailed me at NOT A LINK...Address MUST BE TYPED IN TO EMAIL ME! please be patient.
If it's been more than 3 weeks; I suggest you re-send the original message because for some reason I may not have received it.

So, why Express Assistance?

Special notice, Express Assistance is Temporaily NOT AVAILABLE!

My wife of 20 years passed away unexpectedly and things are in a turmoil at the moment.

I will continue with express as soon as things are back on an even keel and my head is working better. At the moment I have to worry more about my family... mainly my 11 year old daughter.

Thanks for understanding and if you already signed up and paid I will either refund your payment or give you 3 months free after I drift back into calmer waters.

I realized that many of you need an answer Fast!

Maybe vacation is next week, or you have big plans that include your boat for an up coming weekend, or maybe you just can't wait for whatever reason.

What is Express Assistance?

It's a way for you to get the help you need to guide you through your boat and motor repairs, in easy to understand language you can count on. *RIGHT AWAY*

Express Assistance Includes:
    * Help for your particular motor and problem.

    * Detailed step by step instructions.

    * Tips and hints to make it easier.

    * Tools and procedures needed.

    * Drawings, parts sources, etc. if required.

    * Guaranteed 24 hour minimum response time.

    * All the follow-up answers and help you need.

    * Phone call support if necessary. Preset times, usually late evening.

    * Your money back if you're not happy!

    Not Included in Express Assistance:

    * Quick reformatted carbon-copy replies.

    * A bunch of confusing tech manual jargon.

    * Suggestions to replace all related parts just to be sure.

    How much does Express Assistance cost?

    Introductory price is $ 9.00 for 30 days!

    * There are other places on the internet offering one time only answers for twice that amount, and they aren't quick about it!

    * That's about 30 cents a day.

    * The 30 day limit is flexible. I won't charge you again if you haven't got your boat fixed yet. I realize that parts may have to be ordered or perhaps your boat is 100 miles away at the marina. I just needed to set some kind of time limit for the books.

    * I will be available for quick support on the weekends, which is when you most likely have the time to work on your problem.

    * I'll be there if you get "stumped" in the middle of a procedure I described.

    * I'll let you know the shortcuts and warn you about important or tricky areas.

    * Your questions won't sound stupid to me; we all have to start somewhere. It's better to ask than to be unsure.

    * I will do all I can short of showing up at your door to help. You'll be satisfied before I'm pleased.

    * If, for some reason, I can't help with your particular problem you will get an instant refund.

    * I certainly won't get rich at 9 bucks a toss, but it will help to defer some of the time and costs involved in helping to solve your boating problems.

    * If you're ready to get started just click on the little Visa card below and it will take you to a page where you can pay with a credit card or check. It's a secure, encrypted site where all information you exchange will be safe and confidential.

    What happens next?

    * After you've signed up and completed the details you'll be sent to another page where you can get started right away if you want to.

    * Of course, once you sign up; you can get started anytime later if you'd like!

    * Once again: If you're not pleased I will give you an instant refund!
